Jedno jutro prije par mjeseci me dočekalo ugodno iznenađenje u mailboxu.

On the other hand, this little glitch in the Matrix could be a potential idea for your new book. May I suggest something like….
In the heart of the quaint English countryside, nestled in a cozy cottage adorned with shelves of weathered books, lived Elizabeth Hayes, a British author with a penchant for weaving tales of romance and adventure. Her latest novel, “Whispers in the Wind,” had garnered attention from readers worldwide, catapulting her into the realm of digital publishing.
One fateful morning, while sipping tea by her fireplace, Elizabeth stumbled upon her novel being illicitly distributed on a random website. Frustration gnawed at her as she realized her hard work was being exploited without her consent. Determined to rectify the situation, she composed a stern email to the enigmatic figure behind the digital publishing empire, a man rumored to possess multiple villas and yachts scattered across the azure shores of Croatia.
To her surprise, she received a prompt response from the elusive oligarch, Adrian Vukojevic. His words were curt but laced with a hint of intrigue. He claimed no involvement with the unauthorized distribution of her work but offered to discuss the matter further in person, extending an invitation to his villa in Dubrovnik.
Intrigued yet wary, Elizabeth found herself unable to resist the allure of confronting the man who held the key to removing her book from the shadows of piracy. With a mixture of apprehension and determination, she embarked on a journey to the sun-kissed shores of Croatia.
Dubrovnik greeted her with its ancient stone walls and panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea. As she stepped onto the marbled streets, Elizabeth couldn’t shake the flutter of anticipation in her chest. Soon, she found herself standing before the opulent gates of Adrian’s villa, where the scent of citrus blossoms mingled with the salty sea breeze.
Adrian emerged from the shadows of the courtyard, his presence commanding yet enigmatic. Their initial exchange crackled with tension, but beneath the veneer of business, an unexpected connection simmered. As they delved into discussions about copyright infringement and intellectual property rights, their debates ignited a spark neither could ignore.
Days turned into nights as Elizabeth and Adrian found themselves embroiled in a whirlwind of passion and intrigue. Against the backdrop of Dubrovnik’s ancient charm, they discovered a shared love for literature, adventure, and the thrill of the unknown.
With each stolen moment beneath the Croatian stars, Elizabeth found herself falling deeper for the man she once considered her adversary. And as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting hues of gold and crimson across the sea, she realized that sometimes, the most unexpected journeys lead to the greatest love stories of all.

Cijelo vrijeme osjećam neki pritisak u plućima, imao sam povišenu temperaturu i bolove u zglobovima. Naravno, svi su – “Zovi doktora! Jesi zvao doktora? Zovi doktora!”.
“Đubre”, kažem ja u sebi i eto me opet netko zove.
Dolje me dočekuje vozač u onom bijelom zaštitnom odjelu s maskom i zaštitnim naočalama. Otvara kombi i kaže mi da odem u zadnji red jer ćemo pokupiti još par ljudi. Sjednem. Vidno je dezinficiran jer je sve vlažno unutra. Pičimo do Sestara Milosrdnica da pokupimo prvu osobu. Ispituje me vozač zašto idem na testiranje.
Vozač nas pozdravlja i poželi nam sreću. Zbunjen gledam.
Neki došli sanitetom a neki svojim prijevozom. Puši jedno vrijeme dok ju nije vidio doktor. Donosi joj novu masku i baca cigaru. Zbunjen njenim pitanje vidno iziritiran joj odgovara – “Ne, ne možeš pušiti PREKO maske.”. Dolazi sestra i onako kroz prozor iz zgrade nas ispituje brojeve telefona.
Ispituje dalje. “37.5 nije nikakva temperatura!
Doktor se složio s time. Kaže ona super, jer nikako me nisu mogli dobiti. Iskomuniciramo pravi broj telefona.
Dolazi mi lik i pita jel to ona rekla njegov broj telefona.
Zove me sestra iz zgrade na telefon. Zanimaju je moji podaci. Ime, prezime, OIB, broj zdravstvene, gdje radim… Jako ljubazna i imala je dosta razumijevanja dok sam izvukao naočale, dokumente i u mrkom mraku uspio na zdravstvenoj naći prave brojeve.
Pita me gdje sam.
